Acto de Entrega del Premio de Investigación Vitivinícola ‘Carmelo García Barroso’

El próximo día 2 de diciembre, a las 12.00 horas y en la Sala Refectorio de los Claustros de Santo Domingo en Jerez, se realizará el acto de entrega del I Premio de Investigación Vitivinícola “Carmelo García Barroso”.  Este premio ha sido convocado por el Ayuntamiento de Jerez, el Consejo Regulador de los Vinos de Jerez y la Universidad de Cádiz como muestra de reconocimiento y en homenaje póstumo al doctor Carmelo García Barroso, que fue Director del CAIV y posteriormente del IVAGRO desde su creación. El premio ha sido otorgado a la Dr. María Isabel Serrano Macías, con el trabajo titulado “Home sweet home: la influencia inglesa en la burguesía vinatera jerezana y sus fincas de recreo (1800-1914)”.
