The 69th Summer Courses of UCA in Cádiz will take place between the 2nd and the 14th of July 15 June 2018
The 69th Summer Courses of UCA in Cádiz will take place between the 2nd and the 14th of next July, with 19 seminars, each lasting 25 hours, which will deal with “plural and specialised” subjects such as local history, museums, food, economy, immigration, energy, maritime transport, empowerment, international politics, public governance or mindfulness, among others; and 6 dance and theater workshops. The journalist and president of the Press Association of Madrid, Victoria Prego, will give the inaugural lecture on Tuesday 3rd, at 7:00 pm, in the Constitución 1812 building.
The Courses count this year -from the sponsorship of Santander Universities- with a package of 190 free tuition scholarships, plus another 190 reserved for the coordinators of each seminar, which guarantees that no interested student, even without resources, will have limited access. The tuition fees move between 65 euros for the regular tuition, 40 for reduced tuition and 30 euros for the super reduced tuition.
The 69th edition is organized by the University of Cádiz with the sponsorship of Santander Universities, the Cádiz City Council, the Junta de Andalucía (the General Directorate of Democratic Memory and Cátedra Andalucía Emprende), the Provincial Council of Cádiz, the Social Council of UCA, the Jean Monnet Chair in Immigration and Borders of the University of Cádiz and the Spanish Society of Community Nutrition, and the collaboration of the European Center for Business and Innovation Bahía de Cádiz, the Sustainability Office of UCA, the Vice-Rectorate of Transfer and Technological Innovation, the department of Modern, Contemporary, American and Art History of UCA and the Periferia association.
This year’s poster is based on the work of the painter Eduardo Gómez Query, winner in 2018 of the New Talent prize of the 21st edition of the Quick Painting contest of UCA, completed with the design of the Communication and Marketing Office.
