319 Erasmus and Visiting students from 31 different countries choose the UCA to study in the second four-month period

The University of Cadiz is currently welcoming 319 foreign students to its four campuses, in addition to another 180 who arrived in the first four-month period and who will complete their studies in June. These international students come from 31 different countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. In total, more than half a thousand students were enrolled in the second term and there will be more than 1,150 incoming students during the 2022/23 academic year. These data confirm once again the leadership and attractiveness of the UCA in the field of international student mobility, being, for yet another year, one of the most sought-after Spanish university institutions.

In the Erasmus programme, Italy, Germany and France are the countries with the highest number of students from Europe and, from the rest of the world, Mexico is the main place of origin. Within the framework of the European University of the Seas SEA-EU, in this period the University of Cadiz has 19 young people from the universities of Western Brittany (France), Kiel (Germany), Gdansk (Poland), Split (Croatia) and Naples Parthenope (Italy). This academic year, there are 109 SEA-EU student mobilities. The international students are studying in the different branches of knowledge that the Cadiz institution offers on its four campuses, with a large percentage opting for Humanities studies (105) and Economics and Business Studies (59).
