UCAEmprende receives recognition on the 15th anniversary of the Arrabal Association for its commitment to entrepreneurship 18 December 2025
The distinction highlights the strategic alliance between both organisations and their joint work in support of a socially impactful entrepreneurial model in the province
The University of Cádiz’s entrepreneurship support unit, UCAEmprende, has been recognised by the Arrabal-AID Association during the celebration of the organisation’s 15th anniversary for its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship in the province of Cádiz. The organising entity particularly highlighted UCAEmprende’s mentoring and support in fostering entrepreneurial initiatives based on shared values, underlining the strength of the strategic alliance established between the two institutions.

The recognition was received by José Manuel Sánchez, Director General for Entrepreneurship at the University of Cádiz, who took part in the round table Creating Entrepreneurship, held as part of the commemorative gala. During the event, the shared track record of both organisations was highlighted, particularly their joint commitment to an entrepreneurial model focused on social impact and the transformation of the local environment.
The distinction underscored the close collaboration that UCAEmprende and the Arrabal Association have maintained over the years to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the province of Cádiz. It also highlighted the convergence of principles shared by both entities, which view entrepreneurship as a tool for inclusion, ethics and sustainable development.
From UCAEmprende, the occasion was seen as an opportunity not only to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Arrabal Association, but also to reaffirm the shared conviction that value-based collaboration multiplies social impact. In this regard, the University of Cádiz initiative reiterated its commitment to continuing to work so that this strategic alliance keeps generating positive outcomes for society.
