UCA establishes institutional relations with Osaka Gakuin and Soka Universities of Japan 15 May 2023
The University of Cadiz has initiated its institutional relations, which will soon be developed through the signing of collaboration agreements, with the universities of Osaka Gakuin OGU (Suita Osaka) and Soka (Tokyo). The delegation of the UCA, led by its rector, Francisco Piniella, has visited both Japanese academic institutions, where he met with their government teams and representatives of Internationalization. The University of Cadiz expands its Internationalization strategy and successfully concludes the mission developed in South Korea and Japan to cooperate in mobility, teaching and research with up to five universities. These principles of agreement with the Japanese universities are added to the agreements also reached with the Korean universities of Seoul, Ulsan and Gyeonsang.
First, the rector of the UCA, accompanied by the vice rector of Internationalization, Rafael Jimenez Castañeda, the director of the Secretariat of International Projects and Networks, Javier Izquierdo, and the director of the Office of International Cooperation, German Jimenez, have known the facilities of the Osaka Gakuin University, where they have held a meeting with the director of the International Center, Daryl M. Arakaki, the coordinator of the International Exchange program, Midori Hatanaka, the head of the International Center of OGU, Masafumi Shibutani, the coordinator of the Short Stays in Japan program, Tao Meng, and the technician of the Internationalization office, Yuki Goda.
