UCA Engineering students win first prize in the national final of the 9th International Project Management Championship

A team from the double degree in Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering and Mechanical Engineering of the School of Engineering of the University of Cadiz, formed by the students Alejandro Barrios Rodríguez, Ana María De Juan Iglesias, Alejandra Mascareñas López and Abel Núñez Díaz, and coordinated by Professor Alberto Cerezo Narváez, has won the First Prize in the National Final of the IX Edition of the International Project Management Championship (iPMC). After the success in the “domestic” competition, the team will represent Spain in the international final to be held in Valencia on 2 and 3 June 2023.

Organised by the International Project Management Association (IPMA), the iPMC is an international championship in which students from European project management degree programmes compete in teams to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. This is a unique experience for both the teams and the professors who coordinate them. The national final was held at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid on Friday 21 April 2023.
