UCA and Maersk Spain will cooperate in academic matters through the new master’s degree in Logistics and Operations Management

The Rector of the University of Cadiz, Francisco Piniella, and the Team Leader of People Partner Spain on behalf of Maersk Spain S.L.U., Elvio Gnecco, have signed a General Collaboration Protocol and a specific agreement that will enable an alternating training experience in the new Master’s Degree in Logistics and Operations Management. Both parties share objectives in relation to teaching, research and transfer of results in the port and logistics sector.

This agreement regulates the terms in which the alternating training itineraries of UCA students will be developed in Maersk, within the framework of the practical training contained in the modules included in the syllabus of the verification report of the aforementioned degree. This university-company cooperation aims to help students of the UCA’s Master’s Degree in Logistics and Operations Management to acquire skills that will prepare them for professional activities, facilitate their employability and foster their capacity for entrepreneurship, thus contributing to their comprehensive training.
