The University of Cádiz strengthens its presence in the International Agrifood Campus of Excellence ceiA3 with new joint degree programmes

The UCA expands its participation in the consortium’s academic offer with two new interuniversity degrees in the fields of Digital Law and Logistics

As a member institution of the International Agrifood Campus of Excellence (ceiA3), the University of Cádiz (UCA) is reinforcing its presence within the consortium’s academic portfolio through the launch of new interuniversity programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceiA3, comprising the universities of Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Huelva and Jaén, now offers a total of 241 degree programmes, following the incorporation of 19 new courses: nine undergraduate degrees, five master’s degrees and five doctoral programmes.

In the case of the University of Cádiz, particular emphasis is placed on its participation in two new interuniversity master’s degrees: the Master’s Degree in Digital Law, jointly delivered by the universities of Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Jaén and Málaga, which addresses the legal challenges arising from digital transformation with direct application to the agrifood sector; and the Master’s Degree in Logistics and Operations Management, developed in collaboration with the universities of Córdoba, UNIA, Seville and Almería, which responds to the growing importance of logistics and transport as key elements in the agrifood supply chain and in enhancing the competitiveness of the sector.

Both programmes are aligned with the ceiA3’s strategic priority areas —digitalisation, bioeconomy and rural development— and strengthen the role of the University of Cádiz as an academic and research benchmark in advanced agrifood training. Through these initiatives, the UCA reaffirms its commitment to interdisciplinary education and knowledge transfer, actively contributing to the modernisation and sustainability of the Andalusian agrifood sector and to the reinforcement of interuniversity collaboration at both regional and national levels.

With this expansion, the ceiA3 Campus consolidates its position as one of Spain’s largest university networks specialising in agrifood studies, offering a comprehensive academic portfolio comprising 95 undergraduate degrees, 113 master’s programmes and 33 doctoral degrees across its five member universities.
