The indicators reveal that UCA rises in teaching, research and innovation and technological development

The University of Cádiz consolidates its performance and improves its position in the global volume index within U-Ranking 2019, known yesterday and made by the BBVA Foundation and the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (Ivie), which precisely measures the activity of Spanish university institutions in these two classifications (performance and volume) from different reference indicators.

Thus, in 2019, the University of Cádiz improved the volume with an appraisal of 1.1 (one tenth more than in 2018) which places it in 20th place among all Spanish universities. In fact, UCA presents an increase of one tenth in teaching (1.1), two in research (1.1) and four in innovation and technological development (1.6).

In the analysis of the different indicators that make up the U-Ranking, the University of Cádiz is above the average or in the average of many of them, as is the case of PDI / students, evaluation rate, cut-off marks, competitive public resources by PDI doctor, research / budget personnel contracts, percentage of publications in international co-authorships, doctor PDI patents and triadic patents by PDI doctor.
