The UCA presents ‘Documento Azul Cádiz 2023’ with the aim of promoting the Cadiz coastal area

The University of Cadiz has promoted the signing of the Letter of Adhesion to the ‘Cadiz Blue Document 2023’ thanks to the joint work with the Provincial Council of Cadiz and the coastal municipalities of the province together with the Andalusian Government and within the framework of the II International Meeting on Blue Growth and Economy (InnovAzul). This strategic document was signed by the towns of Cádiz, San Fernando, Chiclana de la Frontera, Chipiona, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Barbate, Trebujena, Zahara de los Atunes, El Puerto de Santa María, Puerto Real and La Línea de la Concepción, as well as representatives of other entities involved such as CEI-MAR, the Local Action Groups of the Fishing Sector, Andalucía Emprende, the SEA-EU alliance and the IEDT.

The Cadiz Blue Document 2023 aims to help synthesise, define and establish, as a roadmap, the main strengths, needs and potential of each coastal municipality in Cadiz, so that it can be conceived as a logbook that sets a course towards the development and dynamisation of the blue territory of the province of Cadiz.
