The UCA initiates an internationalization strategy with universities in South Korea and Japan

In recent months, the University of Cadiz has initiated a strategy of strengthening and extending its internationalization to other countries and continents. After its established leadership in academic cooperation with universities in Latin America, the post-Soviet space (through the University Center for Eastern Europe and Central Asia -CUNEAC-) and Africa (with the launch of the UCAfrica program), it has expanded its framework for action, establishing an agenda of contacts and collaboration agreements with major universities in South Korea and Japan. Among them is the University of Seoul, the first to reach an agreement with the UCA to work together in the field of teaching, scientific and mobility cooperation.

In this way, the University of Cadiz aims to establish – from these meetings with universities in South Korea and Japan – a network of new alliances to expand its horizon of internationalization and to detail the strength of international programs and projects led by the UCA. Such as: the Campus of Global International Excellence of the Sea (CEI-Mar) and the European University of the Seas (SEA-EU) alliance.
