At the event, held at the Rectors’ Gallery, five PTGAS technical staff members were sworn in, along with Isabel Benavente, who took office as a Senior Lecturer (Profesora Titular de Universidad) in the field of Paediatrics
The University of Cádiz held the swearing-in ceremony for new technical, management and administrative and services staff (PTGAS) and academic staff this Thursday. The ceremony took place at the Rectors’ Gallery, located on the first floor of the Rectorate, and was presided over by the Rector, Casimiro Mantell. He was accompanied by the Secretary General of the University, Manuel Rozados, along with a broad representation of the Vice-Rectors.
During this institutional session, José Ignacio Cubiella, Ismael Jerez and Miguel Ángel Pérez took office as career civil servants in the Technical Management Scale, specialising in Information Technology. Likewise, María Inmaculada Palacios and Lourdes Núñez were appointed to their posts in the Assistant Scale for Archives, Libraries and Museums.
In the area of academic staff, Isabel Benavente took office as a Senior Lecturer (Profesora Titular de Universidad), with a clinical appointment within the Andalusian Public Health System, in the field of Paediatrics (DF5579).
At the close of the ceremony, the Rector congratulated the newly appointed staff and thanked them for their dedication and commitment to the University. He also underlined the importance of the areas to which the new personnel are joining, describing them as essential both for research and for the digital transformation of the University of Cádiz.
