The UCA consolidates its place among the world’s top 1,000 universities according to the Shanghai rankings

The University of Cadiz has consolidated its position among the thousand best in the world according to the Shanghai Ranking by subject and once again places several areas of knowledge in the select group of the top 500 among all the university institutions of the five continents. The data that have been made public once again reveal the scientific potential of the UCA, which strengthens its international trajectory in the 2023 edition of the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (Shanghai ranking by subject). In this way, it has once again been placed among the top 100-150 universities in the world in Oceanography, among the 201-300 most powerful university institutions in the world in Mathematics, in the privileged rank of 301-400 in Ecology and among the 401-500 best universities in the five continents in the area of Environmental Sciences and Engineering.

These data reflect the scientific growth of the Cadiz university institution in recent years, with a consolidated and improved position in different subjects in the international rankings of reference. A relevant position that is also added to the presence of the University of Cadiz in the Global Ranking of Sports Science Colleges and Departments 2020 Shanghai Ranking, where the Physical Education department appears in the top 151-200 positions worldwide.
