More than 1,000 students attend the UCA Job Fair on the Jerez Campus

Nearly 40 companies, entities and institutions of the province participate with stands in this university space aimed at students and graduates

The University of Cadiz Job Fair was held for the first time on the Jerez Campus with the attendance of more than 1,000 students and graduates. Nearly 40 companies, entities and institutions from the province of Cadiz participated in this initiative of the Vice-Rectorate for Students and Employment, from the Centre for the Promotion of Employment and Internships, aimed at its students and graduates to facilitate their integration into the labour market. The Rector of the UCA, Francisco Piniella, visited the stands set up on the Campus together with the General Director of the Centre for the Promotion of Employment and Internships, Luis López, the Rector’s Delegate for the Jerez Campus, Antonio Rafael Peña, teaching staff and deans.

In parallel, a full programme has been organised with 14 workshops and lectures with invited agents and professionals who bring the university all the information related to the world of work, the techniques and skills required, and advising them in the job search process. A complementary training to the academic training focused on the professional world.
