Seminario ‘Breve noticia del arte y artificio de la lengua guaraní’

El Instituto de Lingüística Aplicada de la Universidad de Cádiz acogerá el próximo jueves 7 de mayo, a las 11.00 horas, la celebración del seminario Breve noticia del arte y artificio de la lengua guaraní, que será impartido por Antonio Ruiz Castellanos. La actividad se desarrollará en las dependencias del propio instituto y está abierta a la participación de cualquier persona interesada, previa inscripción a través del enlace habilitado.

El seminario propone una aproximación al estudio histórico y lingüístico del guaraní a partir de la obra homónima del siglo XVII, considerada uno de los primeros tratados sistemáticos sobre esta lengua indígena. Entre sus contenidos se incluye la contextualización histórica de la obra, el análisis de la descripción gramatical del guaraní —con especial atención a sus estructuras morfosintácticas y rasgos fonéticos— y una reflexión sobre el papel de las primeras gramáticas como herramientas de mediación cultural y lingüística en el contexto de la América colonial.
