Presentación de la novela ‘Tres halcones para Tamerlán’

La Universidad de Cádiz acoge el próximo martes 26 de mayo, a las 18:00 horas, un encuentro literario con el reconocido escritor Jesús Sánchez Adalid, autor de Tres halcones para Temerlán, en la Sala de los Libros del Edificio Andrés Segovia. El autor presentará su obra inspirada en la legendaria Embajada a Tamerlán, una de las grandes epopeyas diplomáticas y viajeras de la Castilla medieval, a través de un relato que conduce al lector desde Segovia hasta Samarcanda en un fascinante recorrido por el Mediterráneo, Bizancio y Asia Central.

Durante el acto, Sánchez Adalid dialogará con el público sobre los secretos históricos, literarios y humanos que envuelven esta aventura protagonizada por un joven aprendiz de halconero encargado de custodiar tres valiosos halcones regios destinados a la corte de Tamerlán. La actividad, de entrada libre hasta completar aforo, está organizada conjuntamente por la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Cádiz, la editorial Harper Collins Ibérica y el Centro CUNEAC, en colaboración con el Servicio de Extensión Universitaria de la UCA.
