Cádiz, El maremoto 1775-2017

Ruta guiada por los lugares del maremoto

La ruta guiada comenzará a las 17:00 horas en la entrada del Castillo de San Sebastián y recorrerá el arrecife hasta la puerta de la Caleta, siguiendo el recorrido por la Avenida Duque de Nájera y calle de la Palma, donde se explicará el milagro del maremoto y la simbología del cuadro de la Virgen de la Palma. Asimismo se realizará una visita al interior de la Iglesia de la Palma, donde se encuentran expuestos el estandarte y el crucifijo que presenciaron la retirada de las aguas. Entre los documentos parroquiales se hallan los escritos de la época en los que se describen los sucesos del 1 de noviembre de 1755.
