The University of Cadiz participates in own Research Institutes of the UCA:
With specialized thematic laboratories in vinous and acetic fermentation, grape growing, microbiology, bioessays, chromatography, characterization and preparation of samples, white and tasting room, development of methods and qualiity control. In addition it counts on pilot plants of treatment of grapes, fermentation and filtration of musts, supercritical fluids, extraction of pressurized fluids, distillation, microoxigenation and vinification.
It offers thematic laboratories of maps, laboratories of optics and radioactivity, cellular cultures, reception of samples and toxicology, in addition to an oceanographic laboratory of calibration, a centralized service of analysis, permanent tracking stations, alert network and environmental monitoring, oceanographic base data base and catalogue of investigators and infrastructures.
